A global leader in enterprise and government agencies communications solution, Verizon has expanded its VoIP service within the Asia-Pacific region, allowing multinational companies in key commercial hubs across the region to take advantage of a wide range of the latest unified communications and collaboration applications to help increase productivity and efficiency.
According to Verizon, their expansive global IP network and feature-rich architecture enables customers in Australia, Hong Kong, India and Singapore access to applications including social networking, video chats, mobile-device support, instant messaging and presence through their VoIP solutions.
Verizon also added intercompany high-definition voice and video capabilities for select VoIP customers that use the service's popular VIPER feature. This is a cloud-based IP-to-IP routing option that eliminates additional per minute domestic and international phone charges on calls between VIPER-enabled locations customers.

Verizon’s VoIP services include the Burstable Enterprise Shared Trunks (BEST) capability, which shifts idle trunk capacity at one location to accommodate increased traffic requirements at another; a robust suite of business continuity services; centralized multi-site, multi-country design architecture for additional network and cost efficiencies; T.38 faxing capabilities; and online self-service reporting capabilities.
