Neil Pemberton is managing director at BT iNet, where he has overall responsibility for the company’s development and sustained growth. He is also part of the BT Business Leadership Team, defining the BT Business customer strategy around IT services.

Prior to his current role, Pemberton was sales director at BT iNet, where he was part of the team that integrated the TNS and Skynet Systems businesses under the BT banner. Over the following three years he and his team achieved 30 per cent annual growth across the combined business.

Previously, Pemberton was part of team that came over to BT iNet following BT’s 2005 acquisition of Skynet Systems, the Cisco Systems integrator he had co-founded in 1996 that had grown to be Cisco’s leading partner in the UK.

Pemberton previously spent nine years as a communications and surveillance specialist in the British Army before entering the private sector via Whirlpool Electronics.
