The IP Pulse:
The IP Pulse is a B2B newsletter, published weekly, that tracks the latest developments in the IP telephony marketplace. The publication covers many aspects of the markets such as new products, new service launches and deployments, reseller agreements, customer wins, technology developments, partnership and alliances, mergers and acquisitions, market study releases, and events. The IP Pulse, created in December of 1997, is distributed by email to more than 21,000 opt in subscribers.
The IP Pulse does not typically cover financial reports, old news or re-issued press releases, product demonstrations, product interoperabilities, new hires and personnel promotions, and announcements that are deemed to be insignificant market developments or out of the scope of the VoIP marketplace. As a result, we cover far less than 1% of market press announcements that cross the wires.
If you want to view every press release that mentions "VoIP" we have established "EverythingVoIP" on the IP xStream web site, which is a real-time stream of aggregated news from both wire services and trade press.
The IP Pulse typically summarize news releases, providing a "meat and potatoes" take of an announcement. In nearly all cases, marketing rhetoric and quotes are excluded. If you wish to access the full press release to any story covered, hyperlinks below each story are provided to the web sites of the companies discussed.
